Day 1

Overnight Flight

We have chosen Singapore Airlines and Scandinavian Airlines for this journey to enjoy one of the worlds best Business Class options available and a stopover via Copenhagen on the way home to elevate this itinerary even further.

Athens, Greece

We arrive into Athens for  1 night before embarking on our Explora Ship the following morning. Athens is a city steeped in history, which boasts a captivating blend of ancient ruins and modern vibrancy. The Acropolis, a UNESCO site, hosts the iconic Parthenon, offering a glimpse into Greece’s ancient past.

Continuing on Croatia’s Adriatic coast, we stop in Zadar which is a charming coastal city celebrated for its rich historical heritage and captivating waterfront views. This ancient town beautifully blends Roman ruins, medieval churches, and modern attractions.

Stroll through the atmospheric Old Town to discover Roman forums, intricate stone streets, and the impressive 9th-century Church of St. Donatus, an iconic pre-Romanesque structure. Before making our way back to Athens we stop at a remarkable destination. Nestled in Montenegro’s fjords, Kotor is a captivating coastal town with a rich history and stunning natural beauty. Its UNESCO-listed Old Town boasts narrow cobblestone streets, medieval architecture, and ancient churches. The town’s well-preserved fortifications offer panoramic views. Visitors can enjoy the vibrant atmosphere, dine in local cafes, and explore the bay on boat rides or island excursions. Kotor’s historic charm and scenic landscapes make it an unforgettable destination within Montenegro’s coastline.

Athens, Greece

Your Journey with Explora ends here in Athens, but yours doesn’t as you get to spend a final night in the city.
